About The Project

Gideon Robinson is a specialist independent design studio based in Glasgow that focuses on high-end kitchens, bedrooms and furniture.

The client required a modern, responsive website to showcase their business, range of products and first-class services to new and existing customers. With an existing website that was slow to load and clunky to navigate, the client required a much cleaner website design that would improve the user experience by presenting website visitors with high quality images, easy-to-read content and engaging calls to action.

Our Design Process

We designed an initial framework and menu structure for the new website that would allow the client to visualise how the overall design would look. From there, we work closely with the client to populate the website with high quality images from their studio showrooms and supplier catalogues, then added in some subtle design features such as hover-over effects and text overlays.

Throughout the website we introduced clear calls to action to encourage showroom visits, phone calls and web enquiries; including the addition of a sticky ‘Arrange a Consultation’ button that’s active at the bottom right of each webpage to help users engage with Gideon Robinson as quickly and easily as possible. Additionally, we facilitated SEO content writing for the website to improve the search engine rankings for the range of services that Gideon Robinson offer, with a particular emphasis on ranking high on the first page for Glasgow-specific searches.
